Libraly Journal. 2023, 42 (381): 16-23.
Risk is an important aspect that cannot
be ignored in the development of the metaverse. In the process of metacosmosis,
the dark side of the metacosmos is gradually exposed, such as thesuperposition
of multiple risks, the formation of information cocoon, the disintegration of
value identityand the social evolutionary divergence. All of these require us
to break through the physical, information, cognitive and social domains of
social governance and control. The risk of the metaverse provides newinspiration
for the construction of the metaverse libraries. In the future, library can
explore new roles withthe objectives of information circulation, scene shaping,
cognitive guidance and cultural security.

library evaluation system in China. And
promoting the process of its sinicization is helpfulto its organic combination
with the domestic evaluation system. This paper sorts out the developmentprocess
of LibQual+TM and the evolution of its indexes, compares and analyzes
the characteristics ofLibQual+TM practices in libraries at home and abroad, points out the
difficulties in promoting LibQual+TMwith Chinese characteristics, and puts forward the
corresponding solutions. It is found that the evolutionof LibQual+TM index
has roughly gone through five stages. Libqual+TM has
more extensive applicationand mature system in foreign libraries, whereas the application
and research of LibQual+TM in China arescattered and not deep enough, especially in
the application of public libraries. The defects of LibQual+TMindex,
the mismatch between the index setting and the development of libraries in
China, and the relativeshortage of special funds for libraries in China are the
key factors that restrict LibQual+TM localization inChina. Therefore, we need to build LibQual+TM Universal
evaluation model and release template, buildlocal evaluation system according to
the specialty and service characteristics of different types of libraries, and
build characteristic evaluation system according to specific object and target.

Wang Zhepeng (Hebei Academy Educational Sciences)
Libraly Journal. 2023, 42 (381): 62-71.
The Personal Information Protection Law makes specific provisions for personalinformation
processors to obtain relevant consent and formulate special rules. The
protection of minorreaders also needs to meet the requirements above. It is
necessary to promote the hierarchicalization of thepersonal information consent
rules for minor readers, distinguish between sensitive personal information, ordinary
personal information and guardian personal information in terms of consent
content, andestablish different rules with “eight years old” and “fourteen years old” as age nodes in terms of consentauthority. We should
promote the establishment of a system of consent rules for the personal
informationof underage readers, with full consideration of such aspects as
notification, interpretation, and amendment. We should learn from the practical
experience of the United States and Europe, promote industry-relatedpractices,
issue special protection policies, strengthen business information management,
systematicallycarry out special education, and clarify corresponding relief
channels.

Get Out of the
Misunderstanding of Mildew Prevention andControl in Collections
Liu Jiazhen (School of Information Management, Wuhan University)
Libraly Journal. 2023, 42 (381): 99-104.
Aiming at the wrong ideas and practices
in the field of mildew prevention and controlin current collections, through
theoretical research and data analysis, it is pointed out that the key topreventing
mold is not sterilization, but controlling environmental humidity and discovering
waterdamage is the key to the problem. Biological inactivators cannot achieve
the purpose of killing mildewin collections. Dead molds are still harmful to
human health. Only by completely removing molds fromcollections can meet the
purpose of disinfecting. In addition to theoretical research, specific measures
arealso given to prevent mildew in collections and disinfect them.
