In the early years of the Republic of
China, influenced by the late Qing Dynasty’s “StudyJapan” trend, the flourishing of social education, and the inducement of
Japanese policies, there wasa renewed trend of visiting Japan for research
purposes. The further development of modern Chineselibrary cause and library
science research had a certain impact on the Japanese library cause and
academiccognition of the explorers at the beginning of the Republic of China
period. Their investigations primarilycentered around the management system and
the social educational role of Japanese libraries. Whileacknowledging the
achievements of Japanese libraries in terms of infrastructure, operational
management, professional ethos, and social education activities, they also
pointed out the issues present in theJapanese library science system. The
visits by early Republican scholars to Japanese libraries objectivelypromoted
the dissemination of advanced Japanese library concepts in China, facilitated
the localizationand development of Chinese library science, and also expanded
the scope of cooperation and exchangebetween Chinese and Japanese libraries.

A Study of Knowledge
Linkage and Semantic Description of“Meta-Painting” Works: Taking the Works of “Meta-Painting”of
the Ming Dynasty as an Example
Zang Zhidong, Sui Chenglong, Cheng Jiejing ( School of Social Development, Yangzhou University, Yantai Institute of Science and Technology)
Libraly Journal. 2023, 42 (392): 111-119.
Paintings are important image resources
in the field of art. This study investigates theknowledge linkage and semantic
description of paintings, which can deeply reveal the semanticinformation and
linked relationship of paintings, and improve their semantic retrieval
efficiency. Takingthe works of “Meta-Painting” in the Ming Dynasty as an example,
we first describe the features of theimage from the physical, logical and
semantic layers. Meanwhile, the semantic information of “metapainting”works is described from six
aspects: graphic meaning, scene layout, storyline, characters, picture in picture
and the artist’s aesthetic emotion. Then, we further
propose the metadata framework of“Meta-Painting”, and construct the ontology of “Meta-Painting” works. Finally, we construct a model ofknowledge-linked
organization of “Meta-Paintings” based on the linked data theory. This paper can revealthe semantic
information of “Meta-Painting” works and further integrate other knowledge and resourcesrelated to the works.
At the same time, it is an attempt to study the digitization of painting works,
whichcan complement existing research on knowledge linkage and semantic
description in the art field andprovide some reference for subsequent research.

A New Pathway to Health Misinformation Governance: Case Analysis and Experience Enlightenment of Practices of Prebunking
Li Xinyue, Lian Jingwen, Liu Zhouying, Zhu Qinghua ( School of InformationManagement, Nanjing University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanjing Forestry University
Libraly Journal. 2023, 42 (392): 120-132.
In recent years, the lagging and
reactive nature of debunking has prompted the efforts to seeka new pathway to
health misinformation governance. The successful practice of prebunking
interventions, based on the idea of “prevention is better than cure”, has made it an emerging tool in combatinghealth misinformation.
Deconstructing the elements and interactions of prebunking is meaningful forunderstanding
the theoretical connotation of prebunking and exploring a new way to combat
healthmisinformation. Go viral, the Truth Labs for Education videos, the UNESCO
ThinkBeforeSharingPrebunking Campaign, and Know the Fact on Twitter were
selected as case studies in this study.According to the temporal logic of “problem identification -intervention design and implementation –intervention effectiveness” and combined
with the activity theory, this study analyzed the main elementsand process of
prebunking practices and summarized the enlightenment to our country. In the
future, moredomestic prebunking practices can be developed in terms of
clarifying motivations and ideas, building amulti-actor cooperation network,
and enriching the form of tools and sustainability.

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, various collection
and publishinginstitutions have actively carried out the collation and
publication of the documents during the Republicof China by photocopying,
editing and proofreading. Through the collection of this project, more than220000
kinds of original documents during the Republic of China have been obtained.
From 1949 to2017, there were more than 2600 kinds of documents during the
Republic of China have been publishedby photocopying and editing and most of
them are the work from 2000 onwards. The type of these worksmainly include books,
newspapers, periodicals, archives, personal data, reference books, compilation
ofhistorical materials, as well as calligraphy and painting work, compositions,
scripts, selected essays, photocollections, travel guides, preface and
postscript, trademarks, school songs and school mottos. Amongthem, more than
2400 kinds of publications during the Republic of China that have been entered
thesubitem including about 32000 kinds of original documents during the
Republic of China and approximate3000 kinds of original documents during the
Republic of China have been repeatedly published. Basedon the time sequence,
this paper expounds the publishing status of the documents during the Republicof
China, the main trends and problems: The number of the publications is
increasing but the type isincomplete. The selected topics are becoming more and
more extensive. The content has its own emphasisand the publishing institutions
are centralized. The problem of publishing repeated because the focus istoo
focused is serious. The large-scale trend is obvious, and the collection is
extremely inconvenient.Paying attention to connotation mining and the index
needs to be improved.
