    Libraly Journal. 2018, 37 (7): 22-32.
    摘要 ( 392 )   PDF(CN)(4005KB) ( 12 )
Based on the existing research results in the field of user experience, this paper explores the interdisciplinary attributes and studies the historical roots and development trends of the field by introducing the quantitative analysis tool Reference Publication Year Spectroscopy (RPYS) to make up for the inadequacies of previous studies. The results show that user experience can be traced back to the earliest humanities and information technology disciplines such as human behavior, aesthetics, and psychology. The important years of the user experience field and several core works identified by RPYS are of vital importance to the development of user experience, which demonstrates that RPYS can be used to analyze the origin and evolution of disciplines.

    Libraly Journal. 2018, 37 (7): 80-87.
    摘要 ( 257 )   PDF(CN)(1769KB) ( 17 )
Due to the defects of influence factor, the quantile indicators have drawn wide attention in bibliometrics in recent years. The aim of this study is to compare and discuss the actual effect of quantile indicators in journal evaluation, and define the best quantile indicator for journal evaluation. 80 kinds of biology journals in JCR 2015 were selected as sample. Based on InCites database, different quantile indicators were calculated for each journal. The results were compared with the IF5 and peer review results, in order to identify the best quantile indicator. Results showed that the comprehensive quantile indicator can overcome the design defects of IF5. PR6 was the best quantile indicator in journal evaluation with the best evaluation effect and the highest correlation with peer review.

From Mazarin Palace to “ Library-Museum-Gallery”: A Brief History of the Richelieu Site
    Pei Cheng
    Libraly Journal. 2018, 37 (7): 97-106.
    摘要 ( 488 )
The National Library of France (BnF) originated in the King’s Library under the reign of Charles V (1338-1380). Over six centuries, the BnF underwent several changes. Every major turning point coincides with changes of society and changes in the relationship between society and knowledge. In other words, the history of the BnF reflects that of French society. Since the 1990s, human knowledge has entered a new phase of digital transformation. Meanwhile, the BnF started the Mitterrand Library Project with the objective of building the “world’s largest and most advanced library. ” After the printed book collection was moved from the Richelieu site to the Mitterrand site in 1998, the former remained home to special collections of manuscripts, prints, photographs, maps, coins, antiques, music, and performing arts. At the beginning of the 21st century, we asked ourselves how to improve the storage conditions, public service and internal functions of old buildings of Richelieu, in order to align them with the new social knowledge structure. In 2011, after nearly a decade of reflection and investigation, the renovation project of the Richelieu site started. The first phase of the works was completed at the end of 2016. The second phase is expected to be delivered by 2020. This article intends to review the historical changes of the Richelieu site, and explore the relationship between a library modernization project and the evolution of society.

    摘要 ( 280 )   PDF(CN)(3522KB) ( 30 )
Document retrieval course aims to cultivate students’ information literacy, and the discussion of its curricular design has been a hot research topic. In order to improve the students’ interest and initiative of learning, we integrated teaching with practices. Through the correlation analysis between the final exam score (score 1), the final exam time (time 1), ordinary practice score (score 2) and ordinary practice total time (time 2), we found that the final exam score’s difference between the electives, required electives and required courses is small. There is a certain correlation between the ordinary practice score, ordinary practice total time and the final exam score, but the correlation coefficient is less than 0.4, and the correlation’s difference of three type of courses is not very big.
