Abstract: The paper introduces the overview of the circulation of children’s books in Shanghai Library, including the collection structure and the age distribution of readers. Based on the borrowing data, it analyses the current situation and trend of children’s books’ circulation, and selects typical collection samples. From the aspects of borrowing and renewal respectively, it analyses the collection structure and tries to provide theoretical foundation and data support for the future optimization of collection.
