Abstract: Pingshun county Li villeage Eighth Route Army Instruments is a collection of the first batch of Taihang Mountain instruments in the possession of Handan University, which suffers from a high degree of damage. In view of the paper specifications, paper type and texture, the number of paper, damage status and other basic conditions of the instrument, as well as advice from the National Library repair experts, the “digging” techniques were finally chosen as the repair method. This paper makes a brief description of the repair process and techniques, and welcomes comments and recommendations from peer experts.
