    THEORETICAL DISCUSSION
The Mission and Core Value of Library Science Education in China in the Context of New Liberal Arts Construction
    Cheng Huanwen, Cheng Shiyao
    Libraly Journal. 2021, 40 (4): 4-8.
    摘要 ( 341 )   PDF(CN)(1764KB) ( 1054 )
Under the background of the construction of New Liberal Arts, Chinese library science education should innovate on the basis of Chinese characteristics, and give a good answer to “who to cultivate, how to cultivate and for whom to cultivate”. By analyzing the problems existing in the library cause, the connotation of the library spirit and the core values followed by the library circles, this paper points out that the mission of Chinese library science education is to “cultivate the builders and successors of Chinese library cause”, the foundation is to establish the personal value criterion of “patriotism, loyalty to library cause, love books, and care for readers and libraries”, and the basic task is to cultivate the social value orientation of “freedom, equality, justice, rule of law”.

    摘要 ( 293 )   PDF(CN)(1908KB) ( 553 )
In recent years, the Chinese government has successively promulgated a series of policies and regulations to promote social forces to participate in public digital cultural services. As one of the important social forces, individuals participating in public digital cultural services have important practical significance. Questionnaires were conducted to understand participation behavior, satisfaction, willingness, need and value cognition, so as to reveal the status of citizens’ voluntary participation in public digital cultural services. The survey results showed that the breadth of citizens' voluntary participation in public digital cultural services was insufficient; the depth limited; the publicizing efforts and recruitment method are to be improved; there is a lack in supportive training mechanism, in review and evaluation measures; and the incentive system has not been enhanced.

Dou Mengmeng, Ji Jiuming, Li Nan, Li Xiaohong
    Libraly Journal. 2021, 40 (4): 62-68.
    摘要 ( 251 )   PDF(CN)(2205KB) ( 430 )
In view of the current lack of innovation awareness among college students in China and the low cost and convenience of popular science book reading, this paper proposes a framework for popular science book reading class to improve the utilization rate of popular science books and to enhance innovation awareness of college students. About one-third of the students participating in the experiment had an overall improvement in the level of innovation awareness. Scale-based assessment standards and high-level sample rates have also been improved. The number of college students who have made more progress are indicators related to the use of subject knowledge or focus on interesting things, but the rates of samples related to personality indicators almost went unchanged. Studies have shown that some college students are eager to enhance their innovation awareness, and acknowledge the role of popular science book reading in this regard. It’s thus proved practical to enhance the innovation awareness of college students in China by conducting popular science book reading class.

    摘要 ( 227 )   PDF(CN)(1895KB) ( 498 )
Against the background of building “double first-class” universities, the subject service provided by the “double first-class” university library has become an important task for the library to align with the construction of first-class programs in universities. The university library should re-examine the present situation of subject service, find out the problem and make improvement, so as to support subject construction deeply. This paper investigates the current situation of subject service in 42 “double firstclass” university libraries from four aspects—subject service column, subject librarian, subject service content and subject service platform—by online survey. The survey results are analyzed in detail, which lead to four recommendations, namely, to improve the relevant programming on subject service, optimize the position and number of subject librarians, deepen discipline service, and building first-class discipline service platform for first-class disciplines.

    Libraly Journal. 2021, 40 (4): 77-81.
    摘要 ( 412 )   PDF(CN)(1928KB) ( 446 )
The outbreak of Covid-19 challenged the university libraries to deal with public emergencies. Investigation and analysis of the response measures of university libraries will help us to fully understand the current situation and accumulate experience for the future. By adopting the network survey method and based on the posts published by 42 “Double First-class” university libraries on their internet and WeChat official accounts, this paper analyzed the publicaiton date, content and typical cases. We learned that all the university libraries had made quick response, and given full play to the advantages of “resources” and “services”. They did a lot of work in the field of “remote access”, “collection of free resource during Covid-19”, “reading and appreciation”, etc. The service content has been changing with the evolution of epidemic and that of the users’ demand. At the same time, we also noticed that most libraries did not have a systematic emergency plan, which needs to be strengthened in the future.

Research on Full-text Citation Analysis Method Based on Ontology and Linked Dat
    Shi Zeshun, Xiao Ming
    Libraly Journal. 2021, 40 (4): 100-108.
    摘要 ( 232 )   PDF(CN)(2073KB) ( 475 )
This paper proposed a full-text citation analysis method based on ontology and linked data technology, aiming to reveal the full-text citation relationship between academic literature, and to achieve a new perspective of citation analysis. First of all, we selected high-cited papers in the “citation analysis” field of the Scientometrics journal to construct experimental data sets, and extracted the full-text citation data between citing papers and cited papers. Then, a Full-text Citation Ontology (FCO) was constructed to normalize the data and publish RDF triples as citation linked data. Finally, we constructed different SPARQL queries to extract the full-text citation information in multiple dimensions. We also analyzed the citation numbers, citation functions, citation sentiments, and citation locations in detail, hoping to verify the feasibility of this method. We found that our full-text citation analysis method has certain feasibility and practicability, which is of great significance to the optimization of the traditional citation analysis method and the popularity of the full-text citation analysis method.

Study on the Block-printed Edition of Chun Qiu Zong Yao in the Song Dynasty Collected by the National Library
    Huang Juehong
    Libraly Journal. 2021, 40 (4): 123-128.
    摘要 ( 241 )   PDF(CN)(2383KB) ( 484 )
The volume one of Chun Qiu Zong Yao was collected in the Rare Book Collection of the National Library of China, attached to the 30 volumes of Chun Qiu Jing Zhuan Ji Jie in the Song Dynasty block-printed edition. Although there are occasional typos in the original volume, the biggest problem is the misplaced pages. The justification and diction of this volume were deeply influenced by the great scholar Wang Tong at the end of the Sui Dynasty. Among all one thousand and two hundred words, the name of Wang Tong appeared three times and there were four places quoted Wang Tong’s doctrines. According to the article “Chun Qiu Statements” in volume one of East Garden Cluster’s Viewpoint of Li Ruchi, we can get two points of proof, one is that Li Hou was the author of Chun Qiu Zong Yao, second is that volume one of Chun Qiu Zong Yao collected in National Library is actually the preface of Chun Qiu Zong Yao. Li Hou, author of Chun Qiu Zong Yao, was from Huayang. Besides, I doubt that the Li Hou from Huayang is the same man who annotated the poems of Du Fu and Su Shi. Li Hou’s main activities concentrated from the late Northern Song Dynasty to the early Southern Song Dynasty. He wrote and presented the Chun Qiu Zong Yao to the emperor when he should be served as the Vice Minister of Honglu Temple in the late Northern Song Dynasty.
