Song Peng
LIBRARY JOURNAL. 2015, 34 (10): 50-58.
摘要

Knowledge mapping of digital library (DL) reveals the semantic organization and the evolution of DL research topics. The article aims to identify the core topics and subtopics of DL research through knowledge mapping of the DL domain. The methodology comprises of a four-step research process, and two knowledge organization methods (classification and thesaurus building) were used. Knowledge mapping covering 21 core topics and 1,015 subtopics of DL research is created and provides a systematic overview of DL research during the last two decades (1990-2010). It can serve as a knowledge platform to guide and evaluate activities of DL research, education and practices.

Research on Knowledge Quantity Calculation Model forTerminology Oriented to Chemical Names
Wang Qianqian, Chen Rong,Li Nan, Sun Jiqing
LIBRARY JOURNAL. 2015, 34 (10): 59-62.
This paper is different from the average research perspective of information systems. We consider the Chinese morphemes and define the chemical morphemes. This paper divides the chemical morphemes into three categories: coremorphemes, auxiliary morphemes and other morphemes (figures, letters and so on).
According to their different expressive functions, morphemes can reflect the differences of the knowledge quantity of the terminologies. On this basis, we work out five knowledge quantity regulations of chemical morphemes, and develop a knowledge quantity calculation model for the chemical terminologies. This paper
reflects the terminologies specialization by the knowledge quantity, verifies the validity of the theoretical model and the regulations and lays the foundation of the virtual vocabulary in chemistry.
