Abstract:

This paper studies the important role of reading festival of university library in reading promotion, so as to summarize the general status of it. The author summarizes the importance of reading festival, and highlights dominant position of students. It is worth noting that a manifest theme, attention to students’ reading interests, students’ enthusiasm, active participation of teachers and students are all critical to the success. At last, this paper analyzes the relationship between reading festival and reading promotion,the evaluation and reading promotion mechanism, and points out that reading festival is the important starting point to reading promotion of university.
