The metrology study is one of the most important methods in science research. It is vital to learn the research status and trend of metrology study in library and information science at home, so that the application and development will be promoted in the new network era. The selected papers related to “metrology” in library and information science, which are published during the period of 2011 to 2015 from CNKI database, are selected as research objects, and the research trends of metrology study in library and information science are studied from five perspectives, i.e. metrology principle, date source, metrology methods and tools, and metrology purpose & application

Based on self-determination theory, technical acceptance model and switching cost theory, the empirical study is to explore what affects the continuous contribution behavior of users in Internet mass collaboration. We drew a conclusion that the perceived ease of use has an impact, whereas the intention of continuous contribution doesn’t. By exploring the relation between sunk costs and the motivation, we found the former affects the latter indirectly. Furthermore, the relation between intrinsic motivation and the intention of continuous contribution is proved, but extrinsic motivation doesn’t affect the intention obviously. In view of the data and analysis, we provide some suggestions for the network platform of mass collaboration.

Based on the needs of Library and Information Science (LIS) development and the practical needs of society, this paper points out the necessity of LIS education to transform from information literacy to multiple literacy. It divides the multiple literacy into core literacy and development literacy, systematically explains the definition of multiple literacy, and comprehensively expounds the goal of multiple education in LIS field. Through the analysis of four aspects: social demands, government policy, library construction and practice, this paper identifies the driving factors of multiple literacy education. At the same time, the paper introduces the practices of foreign data literacy, health literacy, environmental literacy and financial literacy education, and then discusses the development of domestic multiple literacy education, in order to optimize the field of LIS personnel training, and achieve the simultaneous development between LIS education and social needs.

NMC Horizon Report: 2017 Library Edition charts the five-year impact of innovative practices and technologies for academic and research libraries across the globe. It is very important for libraries to review its own development status, recognize the development trends, find their positioning, adopt the technology and meet the challenges. This article analyzes the core content of the report in three aspects: key trends, important challenges and technological progress, as well as the changes of three library editions. Base on the content of the report, this paper points out that academic libraries in China can promote the application of new technologies and the innovation ability gradually, by way of deepening cooperation, embracing the challenges, improving ability, promoting transformation, and advancing technology application, while bearing in mind current domestic context and objective conditions like human resources, financial resources and material resources.

To achieve scientific refinement and open sharing, the paper designed the digital resources semantic organization model of the ancient dwellings of the World Hakka city based on the international influential metadata standards, described the design philosophy, module design, functional features and retrieval mechanism, and discussed how the characteristic cultural resources can be exchanged and shared internationally

The overall changes of BIBFRAME 2.0 vocabulary are manifest in three aspects, namely, the increase of classes & decrease of properties, change of some properties into classes, and the reuse of outer mature vocabularies. The specific changes include the adjustment of core classes, modification of title classes and properties, redefining of event class, change of classes and properties related to role description, increase of administrative metadata, increase of general classes and properties, and increase of carrier description classes and properties. The changes of BIBFRAME 2.0 vocabulary demonstrate library’s deepening understanding and application of the linked data as the latter matures.

To improve WeChat public accounts of libraries, the paper calculates the influence index and conducts correlation analysis by studying 56 libraries’ WeChat public accounts. It specifies the quantitative relationship between the influence of WeChat public accounts and relevant variables as well as the degree of interrelatedness. At the same time, it analyzes the content of published information and identifies the libraries’ published hot spots and readers’ interests. It puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies in the end.

This paper, based on the problems of subject indexing of bibliographic data in the Republic Era, analyzes the most difficult indexing of publication status and content features. Combining with the examples of typical indexing, it sums up the indexing methods to improve the accuracy and efficiency, and proposes that the only way to improve the quality is to encourage the indexers to continue to learn, practice, communicate and exchange.

The article expounds the concepts of public library as public welfare institution in the new development period. By researching and dissecting the information needs of current innovation and entrepreneurship and analyzing the subjective and objective conditions of library services from perspectives such as the two major service spaces and the research and service of literature collection, a conclusion is drawn that the public library still has great potential for development in serving innovation and entrepreneurship, and information literacy of small and medium enterprises will greatly promote the development of library

Purpose: In this paper, biclustering was used in co-citation analysis. Co-citations with high frequency and citations were clustered at the same time, so that co-citation analysis and citation coupling analysis were performed simultaneously to explore the intellectual base and research front of certain field. Method: Co-citation biclustering analysis of the highly cited papers was performed using the papers on nursing in Web of Science as data source. Result and conclusion: The visualization results were visualized by gCluto. The intellectual base of nursing research and its hot research spots were summarized.

Thematic words extraction is an important process of subject indexing. However, the current thematic words extraction not only emphasizes thematic word itself over the connection between two thematic words, but also lacks visual path for test. Therefore, this paper adopts the grounded theory in the hope of exploring more ways for thematic words extraction.

How to establish and develop government open data portal sustainably is a challenging problem in China nowadays. In this article, we recommend addressing this problem based on open source ecosystem, which is a mainstream solution in the world according to our comparative study on 60 countries globally. Some practical suggestions are also given after analyzing various possible routines by way of socio-technical system framework, including the usage of cloud platform, fostering open source community ecosystem, and establishing open standards and agreements.

The article illustrates the development course of public library employment support service in the United States in terms of four stages and summarizes the specific characteristics of each stage of development. Through combing the historical development, the author advocates that the employment support service is a traditional service mode of American public library, and it has developed into one of the most important social roles of public library. It is conducive to social stability and economic development. We should promote it and highlight its important role to promote the development of librarianship.

Liu Yizheng is a famous historian and library science researcher in modern China. As the director of Jiangsu provincial sinology library, he guided the library’s practical work with his profound academic knowledge and innovative reader service spirit, making Jiangsu provincial sinology library the most famous library in southern China. The purpose of this article is to explore Liu Yizheng’s reader service practices, and reveal his contribution to the library cause.

In Hunan Normal University’s Library, there is a Qing Dynasty codex of Clouds-Watching Gathering, in which include a square and red stamp “Imperia Academy” in bilingual design and many notes, corrections and deleting marks in red or black Chinese ink. It was the original submission by Bao Shigong, a book collector from Zhejiang in Qianlong years, which has been identified as a portion of the rare original draft of The Si Ku Quan Shu, a grand imperia library collection. Later, it changed hands to Yuan Fangying, an editor of Imperia Academy in Daoguang years, thus survived from the incident of Boxer (1900). Because of not only the codex itself but also the valuable traces of the Imperial Librarians, it provides us with new material in Si Ku Quan Shu research.

There are many errors in the explanatory notes in Siku Quanshu Zongmu. Some have been found, some have not been mentioned. In this paper, I discuss the errors in the fourth, fifth, and twelfth articles through the method of tracing the source of literature, and try to explain the causes of the errors.

The archives 2(the library construction and expenditure of the escrow of Siku Quanshu) special volumes have 273 pages. There are more than one hundred kinds of all kinds of files. Its main content is the accumulation of various documents and correspondence (Draft), all statements and credentials of library construction and expenditure. These Records have important reference value, so the article reproduces sixteen file texts(arrangement in order to produce time) and provides the original data for the academic circles.

Addendum to Commentaries on Zhouyi with Collation Attached written by Japanese scholar Nagazawa Kikuya was based on transcript of Zhouyi Zhengyi written in Yuangui Tianzheng Period of Japan preserved in Jingjiatang Library, referring to other material, to compensate for the shortage and leakage made by Ruan Yuan. So the paper written by Nagazawa Kikuya is pretty valuable. But no one has do any specialized research on this paper so far. There is much special valuein Nagazawa Kikuya’s research. Firstly, the transcript of Zhouyi Zhengyi that Nagazawa Kikuya has used was copied by Japanese, and its value was revealed for the first time. Secondly, Nagazawa Kikuya made further collation on Zhouyi Zhengyi printed by Liu Chenggan. His achievement has surpassed well beyond that of Liu Chenggan. Ten line edition that Nagazawa Kikuya used is earlier than that of Ruan Yuanused, so it can annotate and correct Ruan yuan’s Commentaries on Zhouyi with Collation Attached.
