Xu Yan (School of Information Management, Nanjing University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 4-12.
Based
on the views of cultural nourishment and psychological quality cultivation,
this paper describes the positive influence of the “mental health” movement on
relevant fields in China after its rise in the United States in the early 20th
century, and proposes that students, parents, teachers, librarians, etc. should
master the knowledge of “mental health” and “guiding bibliography of emotional
healing” through knowledge of reading emotions, growth, learning, positive
psychology and so forth. It calls for schools and public libraries to utilize
occasions such as “4·23
World Book and Copyright Day”, “5·25 Mental Health Day” and “10·10 World Mental Health
Day” to conduct reading healing activities with “book prescription” so as to
help readers in need of emotional relief and mental health care. It also
appeals to implement “national mental health” activities in order to vigorously
promote the building of a harmonious society and cultural and ethical progress.

Zhu Min, Zhang Jiyue ( School of Information Management, Nanjing University, School of Humanities and Communication, Shandong Technology and Business University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 22-28.
Reading
plays an important role in the healing and growth of the human soul.
Biographical works, due to their characteristics of authenticity, continuity,
emotion, and inspiration, have therapeutic value in stimulating emotional
resonance and deepening self reflection. Women’s biographies strengthen the
right of women to be written, pay attention to the commonalities of female
groups, and provide more targeted insights for female readers. This article
aims to explore the therapeutic connotations of Chinese and foreign female
biographies, and take four representative works of Chinese and foreign female
biographies as examples to analyze their therapeutic value in emotional
comfort, spiritual guidance, and cognitive inspiration, in order to attract the
attention to and utilization of female biographical reading and therapeutic
resources by relevant readers and reading promoters.

Empirical Study and Evaluation Index System Construction of Children’s Digital Reading App
Xu Junhua, Wang Jun (School of Public Administration, Xiangtan University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 53-62.
Based on the classic theory of the D&M model and integrating relevant domestic and foreign research, the paper constructs evaluation indicators for children’s digital reading Apps, including 5 dimensions with 21 secondary indicators. The expert evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process were used to determine the weight ratio of each index. Finally, 42 volunteers were invited to evaluate the experience of three children’s digital reading Apps, namely, Himalayan Children, Howling, and Uncle Kai’s Storytelling. The empirical evaluation results show that the overall level of the three Apps is high, and users are relatively satisfied with them. The scores of each primary and secondary indicator are basically consistent with the actual situation of each App, indicating that the evaluation index system is feasible and reasonable.

UNESCO’s Open Science Policy and Its Enlightenment
Sheng Xiaoping, Chen Yifan, Sun Qianqian ( School of Cultural Heritage and Informa¬tion Management, Shanghai University, Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 63-72.
In order to understand the UNESCO’s open science policy, its characteristics and effectiveness, this paper analyzes the texts of 16 UNESCO’s open science policies using grounded theory analysis. It is found that it includes six aspects: open access policy, open education policy, open cooperation and innovation policy, open science guarantee policy, open science incentive policy, and open source software and source code policy, thus forming a relatively complete open science policy system, which has played a key role in leading the formulation of open science policies in various countries, raising the level of global awareness of open science, and promoting the construction of open science infrastructure. Drawing on the experience of UNESCO, China should set up and perfect the open science policy system, strengthen the construction of the standard of open science infrastructure, set up the evaluation standard and index system of open science, and give play to the unique role of the library in promoting open science, so as to promote the development of open science practice in China.

Ouyang Jian, Li Weijiao ( Library of Shanghai International Studies University, Digital Scholarship Center of Shanghai International Studies University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 73-82.
The
construction of new liberal arts disciplines has attracted wide attention from
various sectors of Chinese society. With the development of new liberal arts
disciplines, data has gradually become a key research element and fundamental
resource in the humanities. Driven by digital development and user demand, data
services have gradually become one of the basic services provided by
research-oriented university libraries. This article starts with the embedded
data services oriented towards humanities research in the context of new
liberal arts, analyzing and discussing its connotations. Through the practice
of embedded data services in “Chinese Story Indexing and Interpretation,” this
article discusses data construction, data management, and disciplinary research
services in embedded data services targeting at new liberal arts disciplines.
Embedded data services not only extend the traditional data service model of
university libraries but also expand new technological services, further
enhancing the data service capabilities of libraries in the new liberal arts.
In this new data service model, university libraries also face the challenges
of role transformation, upgrading of data services, and reorganization of
professional relationships.

A Comparative Study of International Data Management Plan Tools
Yin Shenqin, Xu Ping ( Humanities and Social Science Data Research Institute of Fudan University, Shanghai Big Data Joint Innovation Lab - Science & Research Unit, Literature and Information Center of Fudan University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 108-117.
This study conducts a comparative analysis focusing on six selected research data management plan( DMP) tools, chosen based on specific criteria and especially by selecting mainstream and widely used DMP tools as representatives. By integrating practical trials, prior research, and expert interviews, this research takes a comprehensive approach from the perspective of researchers’ usage and experiences. Core elements for assessing and comparing these tools have been elucidated, and a three-tier system for evaluation has been established. The comparative analysis encompasses an examination of fundamental features, DMP templates and an evaluation of user experiences. The study findings delineate typical characteristics and future developmental trends of universally applicable DMP tools, thereby offering insights for the formulation of pertinent policies and the development of tools in China.

The Historical Writing and Its Main Idea of Wu Lin Cang Shu Lu
Hu Chenguang (School of History, Beijing Normal University)
Libraly Journal. 2024, 43 (396): 134-142.
The Wu
Lin Cang Shu Lu has long been regarded as Ding Shen’s personal work, but
the manuscript of this work demonstrates that Ding Shen and his brother Ding
Bing completed it together. In the process of updating and supplementing the
book, the Ding brothers not only added entries and enriched the content, but
also improved the way of writing and distinguishing categories. Comparing the
manuscript and the published version, it can be found that Ding Shen and Ding
Bing have been intent on promoting the beginning, expansion and explanation of
Hangzhou’s book collection. The book also focuses on Hangzhou cultural families
and the prosperity and decline of Hangzhou culture, while exposes and
criticizes the current state and social customs of Hangzhou society, which
implies the Ding brother’s regional consciousness, cultural complex and
realistic concern through writing of the history of Hangzhou book collection.
