Peng Liang ( Business School of Nankai University, Library of Guizhou Minzu University)
    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 4-12.
    摘要 ( 980 )   PDF(CN)(1921KB) ( 1258 )
In recent years, the research of knowledge discipline based on library and information science has gone through three stages: embryonic stage, development stage and transformation stage. In these three stages, knowledge theory experienced initial creation, prosperity and localization, while knowledge technology experienced rising to break through. The rudimentary stage of knowledge discipline draws lessons from the advanced western theory to promote the theory of library and information science to break through the science of experience. The development stage of knowledge discipline develops from western experience reference to the refining and application of Chinese experience, and the transformation stage of knowledge discipline generates Chinese approach. These three stages form four research directions, which are knowledge theory, knowledge management, knowledge service and knowledge technology. The contribution of knowledge discipline to library and information science is expected to achieve positive innovation in the future, export Chinese theory, and promote Chinese knowledge school to the world.

    摘要 ( 681 )   PDF(CN)(1750KB) ( 504 )
The participation of “new rural talents” in the development of rural culture connects the logic of national administration with the logic of rural autonomy and has comparative advantages. This paper makes a case study of the rural reading promotion project of “Walking Book Box”, and finds that the government, through cultivating “Project-based rural sages”, is participating in rural culture construction, promoting the information communication between the government and the villagers, improving service efficiency and promoting service innovation. Different from the traditional rural sages and the endogenous new rural sages, the operation of “Project-based rural sages” is a governance strategy led by the government to complete the task of project governance. “Project-based rural sages”is basically a kind of mobilization participation. Local governments should take the initiative to cultivate new townsfolk to enhance their publicity, governance ability and governance willingness.

    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 21-29.
    摘要 ( 714 )   PDF(CN)(1884KB) ( 501 )
In view of the interdisciplinary nature of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), this paper discusses the construction scheme of its classification organization. The thesis introduces the theory and methodology of domain analysis and proposes three steps to realize the construction of the classification organization of ICH information resources, based on the exploration of the construction strategies that fit the characteristics of ICH information resources, and then improvement of the construction process. The study concludes that a systematic taxonomy incorporating grouping techniques is suitable for presenting the organizational structure of ICH information resources, and that a combination of bottom-up and top-down logic should be adopted to realize the design of the taxonomic organization by taking information resources as the basic material and reviewing them together with experts in the field, and then repeatedly validating the design of the taxonomic organization. The thesis illustrates the theory and method of constructing a step-by-step classification organization scheme, which provides a scientific basis for the subsequent organization and content revelation of ICH information resources. It will also provide reference for the construction of classification organization in related disciplines within the industry.

    摘要 ( 475 )   PDF(CN)(2023KB) ( 258 )
To understanding the behavioral preferences and attitudes of users of academic social networking sites, and to provide an important reference for online scientific communication research and practice, we obtained information on platform usage and attitudes of users of mainstream academic social networking sites through questionnaires, and then conducted statistics and tests on the survey results to analyze the differences in usage behaviors of users with different academic identities and disciplines. This study found that scientific communication behavior of users was significantly related to academic identity, but the disciplinary difference was not obvious. Among them, the faculty group valued online scientific communication more than students, but students were more likely to find publications of interest. Lecturers/assistant lecturers were more willing to seek scientific collaboration and had the highest level of agreement with the platform’s role in facilitating scholarly communication, while professors/associate professors were socially underrepresented. In addition, the platform had a limited role in identifying job opportunities and project funding.

Hu Haotian, Deng Sanhong, Zhang Yiqin, Zhang Qi, Kong Jia, Wang Dongbo ( School of Information Management, Nanjing University, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Data Engineering and Knowledge Service, School of Information Management, Nanjing Agricultural University)
    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 76-83.
    摘要 ( 505 )   PDF(CN)(2211KB) ( 370 )
Automatic word segmentation is the foundation and key step of digital humanities research related to intangible cultural heritage, and it is the prerequisite to in-depth exploration of intangible cultural heritage internal information. We constructed automatic word segmentation models for the application text of national intangible cultural heritage projects. We compared the segmentation performance of CRF, Bi-LSTM-CRF, BERT, RoBERTa and ALBERT on intangible cultural heritage texts. And, the results of Han LP, Jieba, and NLPIR, general CWS tools were compared. In all 14 models, the RoBERTa model had the best effect, with an F-score of 97.28%, and ALBERT had the fastest training speed under the same conditions of PTMs. The word segmentation model was used to construct the intangible cultural heritage text domain vocabulary and segmentation corpus, whereas the intangible cultural heritage text vocabulary distribution was analyzed and mined. We developed the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Text Automatic Segmentation System (CITS), which provided a tool for the automatic segmentation of intangible cultural heritage texts and the multi-dimensional visual analysis of the segmentation results.

The Landscape of Literati Interaction in the Late Yuan Dynasty: Analysis of Social Network Based on Yushan Yaji
Han Xu, Yan Xuanjun (The College of Literature and Journalism, Central South University)
    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 84-92.
    摘要 ( 483 )   PDF(CN)(1996KB) ( 450 )
The Yushan Yaji is a classic fusion of ancient Chinese literati communication, and is held at Wuzhong which was the most important literary center in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties. Taking the Yushan Yaji as an example, this work uses social network analysis (Ucinet) and visualization methods (Gephi, QGIS) to study the social networks of the literati in Wuzhong area from a digital humanities perspective. This manuscript attempts to present the full picture and characteristics of literati interactions, and thus reveals the evolution of literary trends during the Yuan-Ming transition. The research demonstrates characteristics of a “center-margin” structure among the social network of the literati and their community, and that the poetry gatherings objectively promoted the spread of Tieya’s poetic style in the literary field in the late Yuan Dynasty. The Yushan model had a profound impact on the life philosophy of later generations of literati.

The Learning Outcome Assessment of Embedded Information Literacy Education from the Perspective of Practice Paradigm
Liu Li, Xia Hongyu, Zhang Qiang( Hubei University of Technology Library, School of Information Management, Central China Normal University, Digital Humanities Research Center, Renmin University of China)
    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 93-99.
    摘要 ( 407 )   PDF(CN)(1856KB) ( 347 )
Information search competency is the core element of information literacy competency, and it is also the core index to evaluate the learning outcome of information literacy education from practical paradigm. In the context of the ACRL Information Literacy Framework for Higher Education, and focusing on “exploratory academic information search”, we carried out embedded information literacy education. The task-based information search ability test was used to simulate learners’ academic information search scenarios, and learners were assessed by their performance in completing tasks. By comparing the test results of the pre-test and post-test between the experimental group and the control group, the teaching effectiveness of the embedded information literacy education program was tested. The pre-test results showed that most of the students’ academic information search competency needs to be improved—60.39% of the students can only complete simple academic information search tasks. The post-test results proved, from practical aspect, that this information literacy education project had improved learners’ information search competency. The average post-test score of the experimental group participating in this project was 11.79 higher than that of the control group, and the practical search competency was improved by an average of 1 grade. This study evaluated the teaching effect of information literacy from the practical perspective of users’ information searching competency. It provides reference for exploring and improving the teaching effect under the practice paradigm.

A Comparative Study on the Participation Types of Service-learning Between Chinese and American Academic Libraries
Xu Wenjing (Tianjin Normal University Library)
    Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (8): 100-107.
    摘要 ( 521 )   PDF(CN)(1799KB) ( 376 )
This paper makes a comparative analysis of the service-learning practices between Chinese and American academic libraries. It finds that there are three types of service-learning cases in American academic libraries: direct participation in teaching and research, indirect participation in teaching and research, and cooperative participation through projects in teaching and research. Their characteristics are as follows: cases of direct participation in teaching and research occupy a dominant position, while those of indirect participation and cooperative participation through projects are in a subordinate position; the embedded information literacy instruction is mainly adopted, and the teaching content focuses on the real-world information; some cases use the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education for reference. In contrast, the service-learning practice in Chinese academic libraries is in its infancy, among which the representative one is the leading case of Sichuan University Library. By referring to the service-learning cases in American academic libraries and combining with China’s national conditions, this paper puts forward two implications: (1) in colleges and universities that have launched service-learning courses in China, their libraries can try to directly participate in those courses in the form of embedded information literacy instruction, or indirectly participate in them by establishing subject guides; (2) in colleges and universities that do not offer service-learning courses in China, their libraries can try to carry out the leading service-learning cases by combining labor education and relying on their own voluntary service.
