on Context
Du Xinyue, Deng Shengli
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 8-16.
Personal Information Re-finding (PIR) refers to users looking for information that they have
ever seen. In recent years, it has gradually become one of the research hotspots in the field of personal
information management. This paper systematically summarizes the related literature in foreign countries,
and sums up the context-based research on PIR in five aspects: user context, information context, task
context, environment context, and information technology context, followed with detailed analysis and
discussion. Finally, it summarizes the shortcomings of the current research results and puts forward the
future research direction, with a view to providing reference and guidance for the theoretical research and
practice exploration of PIR.

Research on Optimization of Police Intelligence Process based
on Cybernetics
Jiang Feng, Xie Chuanyu
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 17-24.
A scientific intelligence process helps improve the efficiency and level of intelligence
performance. However, the existing police intelligence process model has insufficient theoretical verification,
and falls short of guidance. In this study, the method and concept of cybernetics are applied to the police
intelligence process to optimize the existing models by reconfiguration and analysis. The rules of the police
information system operation are studied from the perspective of information and control. This paper, based
on the functional modeling method, puts forward a police intelligence process model, and establishes the
interactive relationship between each stage and the subject of the police intelligence. The flow, feedback and
resistance in the operation of police intelligence are analyzed. It concludes that, by controlling the source,
process, communication and feedback regulation, we can enhance the efficiency of police intelligence
work

Comparative Analysis of Digital Humanities Research from
the Perspective of Life Cycle
Li Yu, Liu Hong, Sun Jianjun
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 30-40.
In the era of big data, digital technology provides new methods, new tools, new platforms and
new content for humanities research, and promotes the transformation of humanities research paradigms
and research contents. A comparative analysis of the digital humanities research at home and abroad can
provide reference for the research and practice in this field in China. Based on WoS and CSSCI databases,
the paper utilized VOSviewer, UCINET, Origin8.0, TDA and other analysis tools to explore the evolution
of the digital humanities research at home and abroad, and comprehensively revealed the history, current
situation and development direction of digital humanities research. The paper fully reflected the research
status of digital humanities at home and abroad from four aspects, namely, the life cycle division, cooperative
network map, hot topic map and disciplinary evolution map. Furthermore, the paper put forward proposals
according to the relevant domestic research and development status.

Design and Implementation of inBooks Digital Humanities
Tool: A WeChat Mini Program Based on the Open Data of
Shanghai Library
Zhou Qianhao, Dai Zefan, Zhu Yifan, Sheng Jiaqi, Xu Xin
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 41-48.
In order to offer readers more access to digital humanities resources and to improve the use
of these resources in cultural institutions, this paper designed a digital humanities tool to enable readers to
obtain digital humanities resources through paper books. Based on the open data of Shanghai Library and
Internet datasets, the inBooks WeChat mini program was implemented using OCR, NER, and entity relation
extraction. With inBooks, readers can use mobile phones to take photos of books to obtain corresponding
digital resources. At the same time, inBooks builds a personalized knowledge network to help form a
knowledge system on the part of readers. The system makes it easier and more convenient for readers to
acquire digital humanities resources. Its framework has loose coupling characteristics, which indicates
room for more digital humanities applications.

A Study on the Unified Association Mechanism of Interlibrary
Loan and Readers’ Recommendation
Bi Huan, Yan Dan
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 58-64.
Interlibrary loan and readers’ recommendation serve as two different ways to address the lack
of collection. In the contemporary library practice, the two, conducted independently, have their respective
merits and demerits. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the practices, problems, timeliness and
acquisition costs of the two methods, we present a feasible scheme of associating and unifying the two.
We believe that readers’ abilities to acquire resources through various channels should be nurtured. We
propose to develop a unified submission system integrating interlibrary loan with readers’ recommendation,
to design a set of acquisition and selection criteria, and to come up with a rapid processing method after
purchase. Accordingly, we establish an integrated mechanism of feasibility, and design a corresponding
flowchart for reference to peers.

Research of the First Edition, the Final Revision and the
Chinese Editions of The Historie of the Great and Mightie
Kingdome of China
Gao Bo
Libraly Journal. 2019, 38 (2): 95-104.
The Historie of the Great and Mightie Kingdome of China was written by Spanish and published
first time in 1585 in Rome. This is a national report on providing the strategy of China to the Spanish King in the
16th century in terms of culture, politics, economy and military. At the same time, it is also an encyclopedia that
introduced in detail all the situations about China to European scholars and popular readers. In particular, it also
detailed the three travels to China by many Spanish missionaries during the Wanli period. All the book shaped the
image of China for the Spanish Royal Family and even the entire European society. However, one of the notable
problems that exist in the research works consist of the confusion of different editions. Therefore, this work aims
to resolve this problem and has finally found that the first edition of the book is the Roman edition of 1585, and
the final revision promised by Mendoza is the edition of 1586 published by Querino Gerardo, and the Chinese
edition translated by Sun Jiakun is considered as the more faithful to the final revision from the point of view of
the origin of the edition and the integrity of the transmission of information. Finally, it is worth to mention that
the work is totally based on the firsthand literature from related European libraries.
