The application of big data in public culture service is lagging behind relative to electronic commerce and financial industry. But big data has a marked impact on public culture service. Big data can reform the operation mode of public culture and change the way we live. The paper analyzes the cases of big data application in public culture service, summarizes the mode and trend of big data application in public culture service and proposes some advice on the big data application in public culture service.

Many foreign governments and public cultural institutions have begun to actively carry out the big data strategies and tactics such as top-down design, open data and data-driven innovation during recent years. Learning from foreign experience and on the basis of our own situations, this paper proposes some advice on the big data application in public culture.

According to the definition and characteristics of smart library and intelligent service, this paper firstly analyzes the intelligent service demand of personalized recommendation in the library, then constructs personalized knowledge recommendation service system architecture based on ubiquitous intelligent service, and discusses the composition of this system as well as the security mode of smart recommendation service. The research aims at applying the personalized recommendation system to smart library to ensure that readers could enjoy intelligent knowledge service.

Aiming at the innovation of information literacy against the background of new technology,this paper summarizes the characteristics of flipped classroom and introduces the feasibility and present situations of flipped classroom. Then depits a theoretical framework of information literacy based on flipped classroom, including before-class, in-class and after-class stages and introduces peer instruction into in-class stage. Finally, introduces and summarizes a teaching case of flipped classroom. It aims to give some references to the information literacy design and implementation based on flipped classroom in our universities.

Based on investigations and researches on university libraries’ reading promotion services,this article points out that providing reading promotion service is an inevitable trend for university libraries.By examining Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library’s reading promotion practices for each academic program, this article elaborates the achievements and defects of launching reading promotion service, and also provides several advices on enhancing such service in China’s university libraries.

Fresh men orientation to the library should fulfill the demands of freshman. However, many scholars disagree in terms of the contents and time of orientation. Based on two surveys, this paper proves that the contents emphasizing library resources don’t respond to the characteristics of freshmen growing up in the age of intelligent mobile and Internet. And it proves that the orientation shouldn’t be scheduled on the first month. Instead, it proposes that library should act as an information-helper and devote much attention to the information organization of local community. In addition, freshmen orientation should be scheduled earlier and involve self-challenge programs, according to the result of which, library should then help the vulnerable group.

However, the damage of moth to it was great among those factors affecting its durability. In order to save and use the paper documents for a long time, the ancients took many effective measures to prevent and control the moth and accumulated rich experience, some of which is still worthy of reference for today’s protection work.

Jiangsu Yiwenzhi laid the foundations of large local Yiwenzhi after the founding of new China.However, due to the huge project and the series completed earlier, needless to deny, the series also have many omissions and errors in many respects, including collection of authors and books, description of books editors and reviewers, authors’ names, brief biographies, the titles of books, volumes, and description of editions, indication of the existing and lost books. This thesis classifies and emends the problems found in Jiangsu Yiwenzhi · Wuxi Volume.

Mingshi Yanyi was a part of novel which was copied by famous translator and writer Lin Shu in the Republic of China. Now it is in the library of Shanghai Normal University. Through the textual research the author is Cheng Daoyi who was at the end of the Qing Dynasty. This article was from the Republic of Beijing “small press communique” on a long series of novels. “Romance” leisure. Lin Shu had copied the novel when the Social wedding and the family changing. On the other hand, the author of this article analyzed when it was settled down in Shanghai Normal University library.

There is not much word in Yu Minzhong’s manuscript, and the previous researches take it as the reference of the study on the process of The Siku Quanshu or the contribution to the process of The Siku QuanShu by Yu. But it contains some details which the previous researches are not refer to, such as the choice criteria of The Yongle Dadian, the management on series of books, the use of the outside books,the restriction of copiers. It would enrich our knowledge on the academic phenomenon in the middle term of Qing dynasty.

In the 40th year after Mr. Wang Zhongmin’s death, the paper introduces his posthumous work Leng Lu Wen Sou, including the writing background, content, characteristics and ideas it inspired, in order to memorize the great librarian and pass down his devotion to scholarly studies.
