Criteria System for Resource Collection and Selection of the“Belt and Road”Economic Management Database with User Participation
Si Li, Zhou Jing (School of Information Management, Wuhan University)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 11-17.
Standard database resource collection and selection criteria are the prerequisite for ensuring
the quality of thematic database resources, meeting user needs, and realizing resource sharing. On
the basis of investigating the current digital resource selection standards, and with open coordination,
demand orientation, and user participation as the establishment principles, the “Belt and Road” economic
management database resource collection and selection criteria system is constructed. The expert
interviews are used to revise this criteria system, and the questionnaires condcuted to investigate experts
and users, so as to calculate the indicator weights. Finally, a resource selection standard system containing
5 first-level dimensions, 16 second-level indicators, and 19 third-level indicators is established. The firstlevel
dimensions include resource fit, resource quality, resource cost, resource management and resource
risk. This resource selection standard provides a basis and guidance for resource selection and evaluation
for the construction of the “Belt and Road” economic management database, which is conducive to
improving the quality and efficiency of resource selection.

Review and Prospect of Literature Indexing Technology in China
Cai Yingchun, Zhao Xinru, Zhu Yumei, Wang Xiuxiu ( Library of Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai Library, Chongqing Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County Library, School of Humanities, Shanghai Normal University)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 18-31.
Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, China’s literature indexing has gone
through the process from classified indexing, subject indexing to diversified indexing. The indexing methods
have become more and more abundant, and the indexing technology has made continuous progress. It
has gradually changed from manual indexing, machine aided indexing to automatic indexing, and further
to the direction of intelligent indexing. Although the domestic research on literature indexing and related
technologies is relatively rich, the literature indexing research is relatively weak, which cannot effectively
present the development trend and application prospect of literature indexing field driven by modern
information technology. Based on the existing research, this paper analyzes the trend of literature indexing
research in China, and points out that the literature indexing research in China mainly presents two stages
of development: one is the development stage with traditional indexing as the main body before the 21st
century, whereas the other is the development stage with automatic indexing as the main body after the 21st
century. The research on traditional indexing, such as manual and machine-aided, has laid a good foundation
for the development of automatic indexing. As a result, automatic indexing has made remarkable progress in
indexing technology, indexing system and indexing method, while the application field of literature indexing
has been further expanded. However, literature indexing research is more in the field of artificial intelligence
and linguistics. It is bound to require the library science to give full play to its own theoretical and practical
advantages in the field of literature indexing. It will also further require to utilize research results of other
disciplines so as to make the traditional literature indexing technology of library science conform to the
development of the times, produce spillover effect, and develop together with other disciplines.

Study Tour Service of Public Cultural Service Institutions:Significance, Status Quo and Strategy
Peng Songlin, Li Zhen ( School of Information Management, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Library)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 32-40.
Under the background of integration of culture and tourism, the trend of all-round
development of education and all members of society brings new opportunities for public cultural
service institutions to carry out study tour services. At present, there are still some problems in the public
cultural service institutions in China to carry out the service, such as the lack of overall theoretical
understanding and systematic analysis of study tour methods. The lack of top-level design and practical
preparation of study tour service projects hinders the high-quality development of study tour service.
Public cultural service institutions should adhere to the educational principle of study tour, based on their
own business functions and resource characteristics, highlight the concept of shared development, and
build a strategic system of study tour service from six aspects: refining service characteristics, promoting
space reconstruction, enriching supply content, extending service chain, perfecting evaluation system, and
constructing service ecology.

Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 104-110.
By selecting eight public libraries in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and
Australia, the paper summarizes four characteristics of early literacy services in foreign libraries from
five aspects: reading projects, reading activities, reading resources, reading strategies and cooperative
relationships. Four suggestions on the development of early literacy services for infants in China’s public
libraries are put forward, including collaboratively building an early literacy services’ system for infants
in regional libraries, planning early literacy’s section for infants with systematic, comprehensive and clear
characteristics, focusing more on online resources and early literacy’s resources for infants with local
characteristics, and emphasizing more on the family and parental involvement of early literacy services.

Framework Design and Exploration of the Ontology Service Center
Chen Tao, Zhang Jing (School of Information Management, Sun Yat-sen University)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 118-125.
Ontology is a collection of terms describing a field, which has been widely used in digital
humanities research. However, there are few public released ontologies that can be obtained and used,
which seriously affects the sharing and interaction between digital humanities resources. The paper aims
to provide an online ontology retrieval, interaction and reuse platform for digital humanities research by
constructing an ontology service center. First of all, the paper expounds the design ideas and technical
implementation path of the ontology data storage structure from the perspective of data storage. Secondly,
it discusses the deep-level application of ontology in three parts: serialization conversion, visual
presentation and interface calling of ontology. Finally, the paper detailed the application prospects of
ontology service from the perspectives of ontology publishing and image resource semantic annotation
in digital humanities research. Of course, the ontology service center needs the participation and
maintenance of more scholars. Only by effectively publishing and efficiently using ontology resources
can we build a good ontology application ecosystem.

Revision and Supplement of Bibliography of Chinese Rare Books: Necessity and the Practical Way
Yuan Lang, Wu Ping (Department of Chinese Language and Literature, East China Normal University)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 135-142.
Bibliography of Chinese Rare Books is a national joint catalog of Chinese rare books which
commends itself to the academic circles. The limitations of the book make the revision and supplement
inevitable. Some descriptions of Bibliography of Chinese Rare Books, need to be revised. The style has
to be adjusted, the content of rare books is changing, and its standards are always discussed. Besides,
the information about rare books has changed, and the bibliography of rare books in Hong Kong, Macao
and Taiwan must be supplemented. Revising and supplementing Bibliography of Chinese Rare Books
by introducing the conception of image study, adjusting the standards of rare books and developing an
online platform of a joint catalog of Chinese rare books, taken altogether, is a feasible and innovative way
to promote the study of this book entirely. It will lead to the development of bibliography, the education
and training of talents for compilation, and the protection of ancient Chinese books, moreover, it bound to
promote the prosperity of society and culture.

Research on the Edition and Author of Tong Xia Yin Ran,a Newly-Discovered Novel in the Late Ming and Early Qing Dynasties
Zhang Yourui (Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Peking University)
Libraly Journal. 2022, 41 (3): 143-150.
Tong Xia Yin Ran is a collection of classical Chinese novels compiled by the Suzhou literati
“Ji Mei” in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. There are 22 volumes and 358 stories in the book.
Shanghai Library has a complete copy, and Beijing National Library has an incomplete copy with five
volumes. The main purpose of the collection is to alert people by recording their personal experience of
grotesque and retributive happenings. Since its starting point is similar to the supernatural stories in Six
Dynasties, the stories in this collection have more detailed records of the place and time. At the same
time, a large number of selections and quotations of this collection appeared in the early Ming and Qing
Dynasties. The complete preservation is Ji Yi Xin Chao, which collected 248 stories from Tong Xia Yin
Ran. With more references to Jian Hu Ji, Xu Tai Ping Guang Ji, Shi Xiao Lu, we have determined that
the Tong Xia Yin Ran that I have seen today is not a first-printed edition. Due to the literary inquisition in
Qing Dynasty, some texts have been deleted.
