The Relationship Between Chuan Chao Habits and Catalog Compilation of Book Collectors in the Ming Dynasty: as An Example of the Ming and Qing Novels

Abstract: The Chuan Chao habits of Scholars were very common in the Ming Dynasty. Not only did it promote the expansion of the total collection of books, but also affected the bibliography compiled. It had a great relationship with “Su Shu Bu Guan” at that time. These led to book collectors reproduced other bibliographic in the process of codification bibliography, but also made them like transcribing rumors, and so on. There were many problems. Especially, it behaved very obvious in the record Three Kingdoms and The Marshes of Mount Liang.
