Research on the Development Status and Service Practices of Japan’s Elementary School Library: Taking Setagaya Elementary School Affiliated to Tokyo Gakugei University as Example

Abstract:

Elementary school library is an important part of school education. Based on School Library Annual Report of Japan in 2016, and against the background of general development status of elementary school library in Japan, the paper studies reader service of Setagaya Elementary School Affiliated to Tokyo
Gakugei University, whose result is expected to ignite new ideas and inspirations for other elementary school libraries.
