Thoughts on the Construction of Tsinghua Academic Discovery System: ShuiMu SouSuo as a Case Study

Features of Primo provided by Exlibris are analyzed and summarized in this paper, based on the practice of Tsinghua Library in implementing academic discovery system. The most common problems during the implementation—the metadata normalization and personalized functions such as data aggregation, interaction, and data visualization—are discussed in detail.
