Abstract:

Web-scale discovery service system is a hot application in libraries currently. This article introduces the Primo system deployment of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Library, puts forward construction demands of discovery system. Implement essentials of discovery system are mainly discussed from three aspects: system structure, data processing, and system functions and interface configuration. Problems and development prospect of discovery systems are also analyzed.
