Abstract:

Mr.Shao Zuping, a prolific scholar with his mastering the knowledge of Chinese ancient books and meticulousscholarship, was diligent and assiduous all his life, devoted himself to the studies of Chinese culture. His masterpiece‘Pei Feng Building Poems’ won the 1st Prize of literature and arts (1942) organized by the Review Committee on Ministryof Education of National Government. His early monograph ‘On China′s Observation of People’ obtained both highacclaim and preface written by Zhang Taiyan. This article introduces the content and publication matters of Shao Zupingmanuscripts in China’s Cultural Celebrities’ Manuscripts Library, Shanghai Library with the intent of showing distinctlythe precious value of Shao’s manuscripts.
