This article discusses the relationship between “long tail” theory and “crowdsourcing”and points out the “long tail” phenomenon in the library. It then summarizes the advantage, weakness,opportunity and threat through SWOT analysis regarding the crowdsourcing of library work. It concludes
with a case study of successful crowdsourcing attempts in library so as to summarize weaknesses and threats of such measures for more success in the future.

The 21st century is characterized by “Big Data” and “Maker”. How to find the path of innovation in the ocean of information is a big problem troubling many makers. The “Search Quotient” education,with the purpose of cultivating the students’ capability to access information, analyze and use information
and create knowledge, is the key to solving the problem. In this paper, information literacy education mode targeting at makersis being discussed, taking into account of working characteristics and information demands of them. The model can be divided into four phrases, namely, knowledge exploration, knowledge discovery, knowledge creation, and wining the future. At the same time, the system of information literacy cultivation which is composed of reference librarian, subject librarian, subject experts and social forces (such as enterprises and social organizations) is also presented.

Against the backdrop of the prevailing examination-oriented education and backward rural education, the function of school library, especially in terms of its educating function, is greatly neglected. Many school libraries are faced with the problems such as the insufficient funding, old equipment, and low utilization rate. The flourishing non-governmental libraries might make up the insufficiency of school libraries in this regard. Taking the Stars Public Library for example, this paper explores the nongovernmental libraries’ support for school libraries.

With the adoption of RFID in library, many technical and management problems occur, such as the unmet needs of library due to insufficient RFID device function, the standards to be unified, the lack of supervision on book damage and the mis-shelving. This paper puts forward new methods to promote the
application of RFID in library based on the analysis of the management service model of library.

ORCID is now the most widely used “unique identifier” with many applicable functions targeting at different objects. It solved the issues of name gaps and achievement attribution and thus has a significant impact on the scholar’s personal achievements management, scientific research cooperation
and scientific programming of information management. The widespread application of ORCID will bring new ideas and inspirations to the library information service innovation, and boast broad prospect in the knowledge service of library in the future.

Taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library as an example, this paper interprets the innovative measures of subject resource development from the perspective of personnel reform conducive to subject resource development, organizational restructuring, and proportional setup of subject resources.
It emphasizes the sustainable development of subject collection, and, to this end, recommends revealing proportions of subject, resources formulating standards for acquisition of subject collections, strengthening research methods of subject resource allocation, and valuing users’ feedbacks.

The original literature resources are not only the subject of most important service of academic libraries, but also among the most important content of special collection. Taking the construction of “thousand village survey” special collections in Library of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics
as an example, this article probes into the issues such as the innovation and outreach of original literature resources construction in academic libraries.

This paper reviews the research status of MOOC in domestic academic libraries, analyzes the shortcomings in the existing research, emphasizes the importance of innovative application of foreign libraries'experiences in MOOC, identifies problems to be addressed, and puts forward the localization
measures to innovate the services of domestic academic libraries from the perspective of MOOC.

This paper discusses the concept, process, platform architecture, innovation aspects and disadvantages of reader independent borrowing and purchasingsystem. This paper introduces particularly library management system, RFID self-service borrowing-returning system, smart-cloud service system and bookshop or online bookshop management system, and puts forward suggestions for perfecting borrowing and purchasing rules, reasonably planning collections structure, standardizing the management of cooperative bookshops and introducing competitive market mechanisms.

Long-term digital preservation of digital resources is to ensure the long-term accessibility,understandability and usability of digital objects, regardless of changes in technologies and end users,through the management of the lifecycle of digital information. One of the key issues to address is the storage subsystem where the digital objects can be located and utilized throughouttheir lifecycle. SIRF (Self-contained Information Retention Format ) is a logical storage container format for long-term retention and preservation. SIRF is OAIS-aware, and the SIRF format is a mountable unit storage container that does
not rely on actual medium. This paper, on the basis of introducing the basic concept of SIRF format in details, proposes SIRF application model and analyzes the application effects of SIRF.

This paper introduces and studies the organization of The Great Websites for Kids(GWS),and reviews its evaluation process, evaluation criteria, and resource organization in the hope of giving some suggestions on the construction, management, evaluation and marketing of children online resource
in China.

We will introduce six manuscripts of collections of classical Chinese short stories in Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, such as Song Rong’s The note in Hong Jiao Shan Guan, Shen Yinlie’s Xiao Xia Za Lu; Dong Junhan’s The note in E Qi Ju, Cai Xikun’s The note of Xikun, Wang Tong’s The Chat
about Hangzhou, Zhang Ruochi’s The note of Zhang Ruochi. These works haven’t noticed by scholars in this field, hence the need for an introduction.

In the “Wuyuan Han Xi Cheng Meishan Spectral”, which inscribed of wood in the first year of Qing Xuantong(1909), contained nine letters wrote from Zhu Xi to Cheng Ding. However, the writings about Zhu Xi are not mentioned them. So, we can think of them as lost articles. Now, we transplant the letters and add punctuation, then combined with the local chronicles、genealogy and other slightly textual to research it, in order to help research Zhu Xi and Cheng Ding’s life, making friends and thought, etc.

The paper reviews and studies the literature arrangement and publication for Dunhuang studies during the Republic of China period, from the perspectives of document photocopy, cataloging, research and investigation records.

The subject bibliographies experienced great prosperity between the end of Qing dynasty to the beginning of the Republic of China (1862-1937). Subject bibliographies during that period appeared in larger quantity and better quality than other bibliographies. By collecting and referring to the periodicals
and books of that period in domestic libraries, a total of 334 subject bibliographies have been gained and a timeline drawn thereafter clarifying the rule of development.

“Review and Prospect: International Academic Conference on Arrangement and Study of Literature in Republic of China” was held in Shanghai Normal University on November 16-19, 2016. The conference discussed the following six topics on protection plan for literature in the Republic of China:
primary protection, arrangement and publication, digitalization, collection development and utilization,arrangement and research of thematic document, focusing on current situation and development trend of the research on literature in the Republic of China. The conference is believed to promote the further
implementation of literature preservation and the census, the continuous development of the arrangement and study, the national cooperation of published photocopy and digital construction.
