With the development of information technology whose core is digital technology and communication technology, National Digital Library of China continuously extends the coverage and emissive power of public culture services through technology innovation and fusion over the years. Based
on the strategy of Internet Plus, National Digital Library of China will focus on Internet core technology application, public culture infrastructure construction, high-quality network resources development, talents discovery, and so on, and promote the modernization of National Digital Library of China to a new level.

Michael Buckland is a famous American library and information scientist. He has a great influence on the library circle. His research field is extensive and has made a great contribution to the development of library and information science. This paper introduces the experience of his life, summarizes his main academic thoughts and analyzes his academic contribution to library and information science.

Bag of words model is one of the most primitive linked data fusion algorithm, but the algorithm does not use its own semantic keyword for matching and corpus is inadequate, resulting in low accuracy rate of entity link.This paper proposes the use of semantic knowledge base, the use of semantic extension
and loop iterations to enhance the speed and accuracy of entity disambiguation. The algorithm includes two processes. First, linked data sets should go through preliminary semantic integration, on the basis of which, the proposed s-i-BoW algorithm should be utilized to remove the entity ambiguation and links. After comparing with the result received from traditional bag of words model, the paper proves the better effect and efficiency of the proposed s-i-BoW algorithm.

After elaborating on the developing advantages and the current situation of central delta (Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui) public library alliance, this paper analyses the problems existing there,and puts forward countermeasures for union construction development, such as increasing the fund-raising
channels and strengthening the library alliance’s development strength; adhering to sharing the concept of development and expanding service content; building digital library alliance and providing characteristic integrated digital information service.

In this paper, the characteristics of three mechanisms are explored to build a more effective database of Chinese literature of science and technology. Drawing upon complete content algorithm, and using Vector Space Model(VSM) based on thesaurus, the relevant literature is preprocessed. Then taking the
metallurgy industry as an example, it constructs database of Chinese literature of science and technology.By comparing the system judgment and artificial judgment of relevance, the system judgment and the other two systems’ judgment of relevance, the VSM of classification based on thesaurus is evaluated to have high accuracy. The judgment of related articles based on complete content feature algorithm is conducive to improving the function of knowledge discovery system and to improving the knowledge service level.

It is a new attempt of library service innovation for us to utilize small space well. With the decline of visiting rate of readers to the library and the decrease of library circulation recently, we are facing the challenges of collection utilization, inviting readers in, and embedding resources into campus culture.
Thus we initiated the Honesty Book Club as an experiment to bring printed and digital resources to readers’daily life through limited but well-designed reading space. By doing so, we can better accommodate the needs of readers and realized resource sharing.

Circulation data in the library automation system is obtained and used as the sample in the paper. By using correlation analysis and regression analysis function of SPSS software and analyzing the relationship among the number of books lent, book utilizing ratio, book collection and duplication rate of
new books, it builds the predictive model, according to which, resource development strategy is formed while bearing readers’ demands in mind.

This paper analyses the cited age distribution of the books, articles and theses on physics by citations, and it discusses how long the document can be evaluated after they are published. The analysis index include publishing year, the year when the paper is cited firstly and so on. The paper concludes that
evaluation of articles and theses takes 4-7 years, whereas evaluation of books takes 6-10 years. It also concludes that the duration of climax and high-low of climax number could also be the reference index of evaluation.

There are too much Internet public opinion research nowadays, and new research approaches are needed. Under the new concept of “maintaining rights”, Internet public opinion research will be transformed into one focusing on rights of the citizens; under the new angle of “maintaining stability”, the research will
be extended into fields of social security, political security, cultural security, and economic security; under the influence of Big Data, it will also be changed towards whole data, multidirectional dimension and the prediction of public opinion. The change of internet environment, such as the emergence of WeChat, will also present many new subjects for internet public opinion research, whereas the transplantation of new theories, will inject new vitality to internet public opinion research.

Libraries are building the management platform for libraries services in the Cloud Computing environment, which is called Library Cloud. On the library cloud, users can access all kinds of resources and services through an Internet browser. The library cloud not only helps to improve the libraries’ efficiency
and save libraries’ IT cost, but also helps libraries to concentrate on creating their core services. This paper first analyzes the characteristics and the advantages of library cloud. Based on the library cloud which is called OCLC WMS, it introduces library cloud’s building principles and framework, and describes the service process for library cloud. It then points out the problems of its quality of services (QoS). It solves those QoS problems by Service Level Agreement (SLA). It is valuable for the library cloud’ research and development in our country.

Google books and Hathitrust are two large E-books repositories that are developing rapidly.,and have been walking in front of the library. They have something in common and also difference. In order to help domestic libraries to construct E-books repositories, the author compares their development
history, the purpose of creation, the number of resources, resources quality and the operation mode of digital scanning, storage, operation system and copyright management. Both database functions are also compared in detail. After analyzing the characteristics and advantages of the two and stating the status quo of the E-books repositories construction, the author draws the lessons for the development of large E-books storage business in China: massive content resources, powerful database functions, the boost of copyright strategy, the advantages of cooperative development and the guarantee of the resources quality.

Japan National Institute of Informatics’s “JAIRO Cloud” project was given Commendations of Merit award by 2014 Stanford Prize for Innovation in Research Libraries (SPIRL). The paper, based on “JAIRO Cloud” project and the translated introductory articles in recent years, reviews the development process of Japan’s institutional repository. It advocates to refrain from exaggerating advantages of Japanese institutional repository development, presenting auxiliary projects in an one-sided way, or comparing the development gap between China and Japan blindly. It concludes with recommendations in terms of research
and practices.

Since publicized, Ming Dai Ke Ju Yu Wen Xue Bian Nian is praised highly by scholars. Indeed,the book possesses important value in absorbing the records of imperial examination from corpus and in using Tian Yi Ge Ming Dai Ke Ju Lu Xuan Kan on a large scale for the first time. However, the core documents of imperial examination in the Ming dynasty are used insufficient by the book, which become a mistake and weaken the value of the book.

Xin Baohua was the bibliophile in the late Qing and early Republic period in his hometown Meilitown, Jiaxing city.Because the number of collect books was small and the catalogue book wasn’t found for a long time, so the relevant studies on his collection is lacked. Butthe author find Xin Baohua's
library catalog in Kyoto University recently, according to the book and other materials, the author correct the year that XinBaohua was born, and analyze the characteristics of the collection, the rare books of the collection.

The idea of readers’ advisory service has been implemented for many years in American public libraries since the 1870s. The paper introduces four major stages the service has gone through and discusses the elements promoting such a process, including the support of library association, redefined
role of public library, the emergence of reference resources and the supports from professional librarians. It concludes with prediction of future direction of readers’ advisory service.

Qian Qianyi is a literary giant between late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, and he is the
Yushan genre leaders. He had many works, and contacted with many people. Because Qian Qianyi was
the role serving as officer in two dynasties, his corpus was destroyed in the periods of Qianlong, the lost
works by Qian were scattered in many places. Therefore, scholars had made corpus addendum of the Qian
Qianyi since the Qing Dynasty. I found the two articles which were not included in the others’ articles
and “Qian Muzhai Completed Edition”, and they are missing articles, they are important literatures about
contaction, mentality and literary criticism of Qian. After Zhang Pu and Chen Zilong, “Shi kuangzhai
Completed Edition” expressed Renaissance Kogaku and express true temperament, and promoted true
temperament consciousness of late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. “Reply to Chen Qiaosheng” implied
mentality of Qian Qianyi in his later years, showed the relationship between Qian and the diehards of Ming
dynasty.
