Abstract: Jiang Jishi, whose courtesy name was Xipu, is a noted bibliophile between Kangxi and Yongzheng periods of the Qing Dynasty. He and Jiang Gongfei, were not the same person. He loved to collect the masterpieces of the Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties, which were mostly manuscripts. Researching his life and collections will greatly help us to revise the false records of the predecessors.
