Abstract:

You Tong’s 5-volumes YIWENZHI is the first manuscript of MINGSHI-YIWENZHI since 1679. Since this book is very difficult to find, so some scholars believe that it has been lost. However, we can find this book’s block-printed edition of the Qing Dynasty in the Shanghai Library. According to this edition, we
can correct two relevant mistakes in SIKUQUANSHUZONGMU. Based on the comparative demonstration of the preface, classification, dating and other aspects, we can discover the inherited relationship between You Tong’s YIWENZHI and MINGSHI-YIWENZHI.
