Abstract:

This paper described the background and process of the Pew study of “Public Library in the Digital Age”, and elaborated on the key findings of this investigation. In the digital age, the e-book reading rate is rapidly rising, however, libraries still get the recognition and support from patrons by providing a variety of services and maintaining close contact with patrons.
