Abstract: In the hope of adapting to the changes in the demand for literature information resource and technology in the new era, it is necessary to reconstruct the supporting system of literature information resource, which is a key problem in the field. By reviewing previous research on the system in China, this study found the following pros and cons. On one hand, research is gradually becoming comprehensive, with research subjects covering the construction of literature information resource, the service of literature information resource, and the evaluation of the supporting system for literature information resource. On the other hand, certain flaws exist, such as the lack of analysis on the subject about the supporting system, and the incomprehensiveness of assessment on the quality of this system. Therefore, it is recommended that in the new era, the focus of research should be on the analysis of literature resource demand, the perfection of the theoretical frame, and the enhancement of managing and operating system. Besides, it is of the same significance to promote the research on the development of smart service, and to strengthen the evaluation on the supporting system of literature information resource.
