Abstract: Abundant versions of novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties are archived in the National Library of Austria, including rare versions. The block-printed Ke Quan Xiang Wu Xian Ling Guan Da Di Hua Guang Tian Wang Zhuan (《刻全像五显灵官大帝华光天王传》)of the Ming dynasty and the manuscript of Liao Zhai Quan Tu (《聊斋全图》)of the Qing dynasty are worthy of attention. Ke Quan Xiang Wu Xian Ling Guan Da Di Hua Guang Tian Wang Zhuan differs from its edition stored in the British Museum, London. This novel is reprinted by Wen Ya Tang, which is on the basis of Chang Yuan Tang block-printed edition and other editions. There is the possibility that these variations reserve parts of style of the original copies. Liao Zhai Quan Tu contains text and corresponding main picture: on the left is the text which is transcribed by regular script; on the right is the fine picture. In terms of style, Liao Zhai Quan Tu shares some traits with Liao Zhai Tu Shuo. This peculiar version of the novel was finished after 1840.
