Knowledge Interactive Service Model of Academic Universities Based on Official Account of WeChat in the New Media Environment

Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet plus and new media, users’ information retrieval habits and methods have undergone changes as well, which promotes the transformation of information service model in academic universities towards mobile terminals and increasing interactiveness. This paper takes the official account of Wuhan University of Technology Library as an example, and analyzes its service content and methods by collecting a series of relevant data from various perspectives, including the subscription of readers, the usage of menu as well as the reading responses. It aims at developing a “micro” knowledge interactive service model of academic universities in the times of mobile Internet and interactive environment.
