The Library: A World History

Abstract

Abstract: The book The Library: A World History narrates the world history of library building development for the first time. From the perspective of architects, the author reviews the historical evolvement of the library building from the origin to the 20th century, analyzes the relationship between architects and librarians, as well as the historical status of China ancient libraries, exploring the solutions to reinvigorate library as cultural inheritance.
