Abstract: Liu Wendian purchased two volumes of manuscripts of Fang Bao with Fu Zengxiang’s help. And when he read the notice on Xue Feng, library journal of Anhui Provincial Library about soliciting private and public document of past generations, he wrote Mr. Chen Dongyuan, then curator of the library expressing his willingness to provide the manuscripts for copy. Chen published the letter on the journal, and the message went to Liu Shengmu, who wrote to Chen and Liu respectively asking for makeing a copy of the transcript. Liu Wendian has the transcripts made in Bejing and send to Chen Dongyuan and Liu Shengmu. Thus based on the transcript, Liu Shengmu compiled and published four volumes of Supplement to the Third Sequel of Wangxi Anthology.
