Theoretical Innovation and Practices of General Education in Information Literacy

Abstract: On the basis of reviewing and rethinking the research achievements of the theory and practice of information literacy education, and absorbing the essence of domestic and foreign theory, practice, frameworks and standards, the authors present for the first time the theoretical framework of general education in information literacy that involveslife, learning and work. They also discuss the practices of MOOC, and advocate the change of teaching philosophy, the change of teaching content, the revitalization of teaching methods and the expansion of education recipients.
