The Cultural Governance Function of Public Libraries

Abstract

Abstract:

Culture has the function of social governance, hence the public cultural services system is a form of cultural governance. As an important part of the public cultural services system, public library is a tool for cultural governance. It is rooted in cultural governance and education, and impacts the public’s
ideology value through a demonstrative cultural representation system, so as to optimize social mind and social behaviors. As the vigorous implementer of cultural strategy and striving to perfect the national governance system in our country, public library can contribute to the improvement and development of
the country and society.
