A Distinguishment on Versions of Notes on Stele Inscriptions

Abstract:

Notes on Stele Inscriptions is famous scholar Ye Chang-chi’s representative work of lithograph at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The book received widespread attention in academic circles since it published in 1909.Then more and more derivatives have come. All of these thought themselves according to the original version. It’s uniqueness seems to be a public consensus. Through careful comparison, the original version of Notes on Stele Inscriptions has two versions. It leads us to distinguish between the various copies of later to the task. This article is to solve these problems.
