The Contributions of Female Library Science Scholars to the Librarianship During the Republic of China Period

Abstract: Chinese library science scholars. They played an important role in the development of the librarianship. Based on the statistics of the number of female library science scholars during the Republic of China period, this article explores the contribution of female library science scholars to librarianship in China. Research has shown that the group of female library science scholars during the Republic of China era assisted the development of the librarianship through various means, such as academic research in libraries, practical work in libraries, talent cultivation in libraries, and library club activities.
