Innovation-Driven Curriculum Design of Information Literacy:Discovering New Research Hotspots and Fronts

Abstract:

Constructing multiple, systematic, flexible information literacy curriculum conducive to thediscovery of research hotspots and fronts in scientific research is not only the vital support for scientificinnovation but also an important development direction for research university libraries. This articlestudies the ability of knowledge creation and scientific innovation literacy on the part of researchers,investigates the domestic and foreign top research university libraries, and, on the basis of the ACRLFramework for Information Literacy for Higher Education, constructs information literacy instructionalcontents and support system that helps discovery of research hotspots and fronts. It also introducespractices of Peking University Library in this regard to provide preference for research universitylibraries.
