Abstract:

Recently, with the increasing number of cultural heritage crowdsourcing (CHC) projects, the issue of project sustainability has gradually emerged and attracted the attention of academia.First, we collected domestic and foreign CHC projects and related literature, and identified thefactors influencing the sustainability of CHC projects through literature review and case study. Wethen adopted Delphi method to evaluate and determine the influencing factors. Finally, we proposeda framework including 7 primary influencing factors and 15 secondary influencing factors for thesustainability of CHC projects. The study aims to shed light on the practice of cultural heritagecrowdsourcing in cultural memory institutions and to provide a theoretical basis for future empiricalexploration of the project sustainability.
