Abstract: The revolutionary breakthrough of GPT technology marks the arrival of the AI 2.0 era, and will inject new vitality into smart libraries. This article first explores the innovative characteristics of smart libraries in the AI 2.0 era from the perspective of technological innovation, then points out the innovative scenarios driven by GPT technology in smart libraries, and finally elaborates on the better experience that GPT technology-driven innovation brings to users in smart libraries. The GPT-driven innovation of smart libraries aims to provide users with intelligent, personalized, and efficient services while improving the quality and efficiency of library services, helping libraries to achieve intelligent transformation. The application of GPT-type technology is generating disruptive changes, which are worthy of our attention and thoughts.
