Abstract: RDA is the latest international cataloging rule, and BIBFRAME is the latest bibliographic format standard. In the context of semantic web and linked data development, the use of RDA cataloging and BIBFRAME format expression will be the inevitable trend of cataloging transformation. Title is one of the most important elements in RDA to identify resource. Hence analyzing comparatively RDA title elements and BIBFRAME title classes and properties, while exploring the expression of the title elements in RDA on the format of BIBFRAME, will help promote the theoretical research and practice of BIBFRAME and RDA in our country.
