Abstract: This article mainly discusses the application strategy of the evidence-based acquisition (EBA) model in the foreign e-book acquisition in university libraries. Firstly, it introduces the definition, overview and development status of EBA at home and abroad. It then analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the EBA model via SWOT analysis to propose the application strategy of the EBA model. It demonstrates the practices of Shanghai Jiao Tong University library in the regard in the end.
