A Summary of the 2021 Seminar on Digital Resource Rights and Interests Management in Big Data Environment: Key Issues and Countermeasures

Abstract: On July 28, 2021, the Seminar on Digital Resource Interests and Rights Management in Big
Data Environment, jointly sponsored by the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the
School of Information Management of Wuhan University and the National School of Confidentiality of
Wuhan University, was successfully held online. The meeting invited experts and scholars in the fields
of LIS and law to conduct a full discussion on the theme of “library digital resource interests and rights
management in the era of big data: key issues and countermeasures”. Taking the conference report and
discussions as the object, and taking into account the research frontier at home and abroad, the authors
point out four key problems as well as solutions on the rights and interests of digital resources in the big
data environment.
