Abstract: In the construction of digital resources of historical cultural celebrities, a highly structured relational database is still regarded as a common storage model that is concise and effective. Therefore, it is necessary to explore an effective way to construct the knowledge graph based on relational database, so that study tour tracks of historical cultural celebrities can be visually reproduced and knowledge relevance can be dug out, which promotes the in-depth exploitation and utilization of related digital resources. From the perspective of digital humanities, the researches choos CBDB, character and works resources of Shanghai Library, local chronicles, character chronicle, etc as the data source. Based on the CBDB database framework, this study extracts and improves the relational data model of historical cultural celebrities’ study tour tracks. And then, it implements the process of data storage, data conversion and release, as well as browsing, querying and visualization by means of MySQL, Navicat, D2R, and LODLIVE. In the end, the construction and visualization of knowledge graph on study tour tracks of historical cultural celebrities is made. This research realizes the conversion from relational database to knowledge graph in a concise and effective way, which meets the demand of browsing, querying, and discovering knowledge in a visual way, laying the foundation for digital humanities researches on historical cultural celebrities.
