Abstract: The special collection resources of university library is one of the important indexes reflecting the level of library resource development, the humanistic connotation and historical tradition of the university. Through literature research and prototype analysis, this paper proposes the “alumni original works archiving” as a supplement to the special collection development. This paper takes the journal of Southeast University Library, The Book Paradise, which integrates new media and traditional media, as an example. It reveals the collection content and way of display, as well as the construction and management of network platform and other work process, and explores a new approach and model of campus cultural special collection development.
