Abstract: The current information literacy education often derails from the real academic research, and the traditional library training mode can not accommodate the need of graduate students for information literacy skills during the systematic scientific research. This paper aims to provide an overview of innovative methods which might serve as models for future academic library information literacy education. It focuses on how this education system was conceived, implemented, and has evolved based on new ideas including thesis topic selection, literature review writing, research design, tool application, literature indexing, format layout, paper review, submission and other stages of paper writing. Therefore, all aspects that involved in information literacy are integrated and combed to form a complete information literacy education system, which may be used by librarians and interested parties as a quick reference to information literacy education reform. Finally, it also discusses the attempts and suggestions of using this model to carry out educational practices.
