Abstract: 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Goethe Institute Information Center (GIIC) in Shanghai Library. During the long-term stable cooperation between Shanghai Library and Goethe Institute, GIIC is not only the characteristic collection of Shanghai Library, but also a treasure for German-language-learners and users. Furthermore, it is an open platform for the public to learn about German culture. By searching materials and analyzing data and cases, the author wants to make a detailed introduction to GIIC.
