Abstract: The Peking University Library has a two-volume handwritten edition of Baoqing Changguo County Chronicles in the Qing Dynasty. This book has been little known for a long time and rarely recorded. Some scholars believe that the second volume of Baoqing Changguo County Chronicles is the blueprint of the volume 20 of Si Ming Zhi in the same period, and the latter is deleted on the basis of the former. The article questioned this statement, and through a comparative analysis of the contents of the two books, it was judged that Baoqing Changguo County Chronicles was not the blueprint of the volume 20 of Si Ming Zhi in the same period, but was a pseudo-book based on the contents of Si Ming Zhi and other books, compiled by later generations of the Southern Song Dynasty. However, this book is derived from the manuscript of the Southern Song, and has a certain historical value in document collation and historical analysis.
