Abstract: The open data of the intangible cultural heritage list (ICH list) is the key to digital construction and management of all intangible cultural heritage resources. To understand the standardization of the ICH lists and to further investigate the quality of the lists, the paper takes six provinces in western China as examples, adopts the network survey and content analysis respectively in terms of data acquisition and analysis, conducts a general investigation on the standardization of the open data, and creates a multidimensional evaluation mechanism. The study has found that there are a series of problems regarding quality, among which the problem of inconsistency is the most severe. Moreover, both the normalization and openness of the evaluation results need to be improved. This paper provides practical suggestions for the activation, development and utilization of intangible cultural heritage digital resources.
