Academic Training Camp: A New Model of Library Data#br# Literacy Training under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: In order to meet the new requirements of colleges and universities for data literacy and services
under the background of developing new liberal arts disciplines, the library has made new exploration with
academic training camp as the main mode. The academic training camps organized by the libraries of Fudan
University, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics
and other universities centered on data literacy and data services, which have their own advantages and
characteristics in terms of goals, contents, and forms. They have accumulated successful experience.
Based on comparative analysis, this paper summarized and put forward optimization suggestions such as
strengthening interlibrary cooperation and collaboration, creating cross-disciplinary realistic application
scenarios, promoting the integration of production, education, and research, and creating a complete
curriculum system.
