Abstract: The current situation of Chinese eBooks bibliographic data disclosure is investigated. The purpose is to provide reference for standardizing Chinese eBooks bibliographic metadata and improving user retrieval experience and reading experience. Chinese eBooks platforms are studied by means of network survey in terms of their bibliographic data disclosure, the standardization of description, and the data relevance. Three core elements, title, creator and description, are revealed on 11 platforms, whereas source, association, range of time and space are not revealed. There are more normative problems about title and creator. The linked data is not disclosed widely, especially the data on knowledge organization tools. The paper concludes with several proposals.
