Abstract: Shanghai, Jiaxing, Ji’an, Ganzhou, Zunyi, Yan’an and other cities are important node cities in the history of the Communist Party of China and have become important memorial sites in the Party’s history. In order to Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the domestic library community has joined forces to actively organize related reading promotion activities and make fruitful efforts in carrying out red cultural heritage and red literature reading promotion. Certainly, limited to subjective and objective conditions, there are inevitably some shortcomings and limitations. The formation and emergence of the “Red Library Consortium” provides a new institutional model for the promotion of red cultural reading. In the future, public libraries can use the platform of the alliance to make substantial improvements in the construction of special collections of red literature and the form of innovative activities, to achieve the sustainable development of reading promotion.
