An Analysis of Research on Health Information Literacy During Public Health Emergency and Its Implications

Abstract: Health information literacy is helpful for improving general public’s access to and use of health information, and developing the general public’s positive and rational behaviors in a health crisis. This paper collected related scholarly works on health information literacy, health literacy, and information literacy, and analyzed these studies from the aspects of awareness, access, evaluation and use of health information. The paper suggested some future research directions that could be considered in China in the area of healthy information literacy.
