Abstract: WeChat official accounts have been playing an important role for public libraries ever since the advent of “Internet +” era. A great amount of data produced during the operation of WeChat account could accurately reflect the needs and preferences of users. The paper attempts to build a behavioral data monitoring system for WeChat official accounts that can be applied to all public libraries. A trial was made on the WeChat account of “Digital Library Promotion Project”, where system investigated the existing problems and found solution to adjust the operation for better service. It has worked effectively by now and surely will provide reference significances for other public libraries.
